Meet Ritanne Duszak, MS, RD, LDN
Ritanne found endurance sports in 2007 when a friend convinced her to run a marathon in Italy. With the offer of gelato on the table, she couldn't refuse. In the following decade plus, she has never stopped the pursuit of finish lines, initially in her own athletic career, then working with athletes as a Running and Triathlon Coach, and now also as a Sports Dietitian. Ritanne brings the combination of evidence-based practice to her coaching in both endurance sports and sports nutrition combined with a unique understanding of athletes, both as one herself and as a coach. One of the foundations of her coaching practice is understanding the goals of the athlete and strategizing how to best help them get there while meeting their individual life demands.
Ritanne is a Registered Dietitian and a certified Level 1 Coach by both USA Track and Field (USATF) and USA Triathlon (USAT). She holds an M.S. degree in Human Nutrition from Drexel University and has worked with high school, collegiate and post-collegiate athletes. As an athlete, she improved from a 4:21:34 debut marathon in Italy to running 2:56:50 at the 2013 Boston Marathon and finishing in the top 100 women. Ritanne has won running races from 5k to the marathon and ran herself to a second place overall female finish at Beach 2 Battleship in her first iron-distance race and has qualified and raced at the Ironman World Championship. As a coach, she has worked with athletes to finish their first race to helping them qualify for the Boston Marathon and National & World Championships in triathlon.
